Oleg, in your 1st prize, it looks so easy and so wonderful!
I was surprised until the last move.
That rarely happens to me.
You are and will remain a genius!
At my next lecture in Berlin I will show your study.
Timman’s study also impressed me.
There is no bad study in the award.
Amatzia did a good job!

Thank you, Martin. It is small but beautiful study, sometimes I like to compose such)
Dear Mr. Pervakov,
Congrats on the new year success. I need a bit of info. How many studies have you composed so far (both published and unpublished)?
HHdb V gives about 280 of them (1977-2015).
There would be more in the last three years.
Sincerely,
chessbibliophile
Thank you!
I agree with Sergey – nearly 350-370)).
Not more than 350 I guess.
But what matters is quality not quantity.
See the picture here for more details.
Dear Mr. Didukh and Mr. Pervakov,
Very glad to see the response from both of you. I have saved the table of statistics forwarded to me. It’s valuable.Currently reading the book, “Oleg Pervakov’s Industrial Strength Endgame Studies” by Sergei Tkachenko.
