Судья М. Глинка поделил два приза на троих. Присуждения Глинки меня раздражали всегда. Но в этот раз я был вооружен! Утром запомнил «волшебный» вопрос для овладения позитивным мышлением, чтобы с оптимизмом реагировать на происходящее вокруг: «Что в случившемся есть хорошего?» Ответ очевиден. Плюс в том, что мне не нужно тратить время на критику судейства, потому что ошибки судьи понятны без комментариев. Вспомнил, что год назад Олимпийский конкурс отменили из-за пандемии. Ох, как повезло! Ведь была бы катастрофа, так как судить его должен был Глинка. Эта мысль наполнила меня морем позитива. Все-таки, как же легко и быстро я овладеваю разными психологическими приемами! Мучает только один вопросик: “Какой идиот назначил судьей этого тупицу?”

One can have different opinions about Sergiy’s sharp satire.
Michal Hlinka is a very active judge. Judging is a lot of work. He deserves respect for this.
The judge has absolutely no fault if there are no good studies in the tournament. In this case I would have recommended Michal not to give a prize, because I don’t see a prize study in this tournament.
There are too many tournaments that the informal tournaments no longer receive sufficiently good studies in the magazines. That is a general problem.
I always have the feeling that Michal is somehow influenced by Mr. Garcia. I hope my feeling is wrong.
The only study that appealed to me emotionally is Ulrichsen’s version. But Hildebrand anticipated the idea. Ulrichsen wanted the kings to move. This is easier (see my version). I don’t think the Excelsior is that important here.
It’s not satire, it’s humour. I didn’t call Hlinka stupid for real, it’s just necessary to spice the final sentence of the story with a strong word in order to make it funny. I laugh at myself in this story, not at the judge. But of course, you have the right not to understand Russian humour because you are a German.

Ты сам нарвался. Но ты же вместе с немецким дурачком пострадали за дело – защищали честь уважаемого судьи. Или вы комедию ломали? Я ломал комедию. Но посыл был правильным, в отличие от вашей гнилой позиции.
У меня и в первом, и во втором случае был СССР-овский юмор 😛

This award is obvious rubbish. And I am pissed that my own contribution was not included although it is not more than a commendation or perhaps a honorable mention if you want to be generous. But at least it is not garbage like so many studies in the award!
